2023
2023 marked a key step forward in our reporting journey. We expanded our scope, laid the groundwork for future compliance, and strengthened our commitment to transparency and responsible business practices.
2021/2022
This report covered two calendar years and a period marked by global challenges, including the pandemic and political instability in Europe, both of which had significant social and economic impacts.
2019/2020
Our second sustainability report covered sustainability topics at our production sites in Vienna and Vicenza, as well as their associated markets in Austria and Italy, for the financial years 2019 and 2020.

Our Responsibly Selected Coffee Initiative
Through our Responsibly Selected Coffee Initiative we purchase green coffee from farmers complying with sustainability schemes that align with the Global Coffee Platform’s Coffee Sustainability Reference Code.
Julius Meinl Generations Programme
The Generations Programme provides tailored support to a selected number of coffee farmers, with the goal of helping them establish viable, long-term coffee businesses. The projects within our Generations Programme, currently active in Colombia, Uganda, India and Honduras, aim to support selected farmers’ income opportunities by sharing methods to improve coffee production efficiency and profitability, while also providing tools for income diversification and promoting good agricultural practices.
